During weekly science lessons, students are encouraged to work as scientists to make sense of the world around them. Guided by the Victorian Science Curriculum, we aim to nurture the natural curiosity in each and every student by developing their scientific knowledge, understanding and skills. Students are encouraged to participate in guided scientific inquiries that are linked to their classroom inquiry questions.
Through participation in hands-on experiments, science projects and fieldwork, students can develop critical and creative thinking skills and challenge themselves to identify questions, apply new knowledge, explain science phenomena and draw evidence-based conclusions using scientific methods.
